Joy & Sunshine Ground Floor Suite

A family-friendly space created by joining up our two adjacent ground floor rooms – Joy and Sunshine.

The newest guest room in the Manor, Joy & Sunshine Ground Floor Suite, is ideal for those not wishing to tackle the flight of steps to the rooms on the upper level.

Three steps up from the Manor dining area, a door closes off the entrance foyer to the two rooms – and from there it’s your choice: you can leave Joy and Sunshine completely interconnected as a family suite, or you can close each room off from the other for the privacy you need.

Joy is lavishly furnished in sumptuous berry tones and this king room occupies a private position close to the dining area and courtyard, with a seating area adjacent to the bed creating a space for reading or quiet contemplation. Separate shower and WC cubicles stand either side of a large bath and hand basin.

Sunshine is a bright room providing various seating or sleeping combinations from a 2-seater couch to a large double bed, or two singles. It also has a separate, ensuite bathroom and a refreshment station with electric kettle which includes teas, coffee and cookies, and a fridge which holds complimentary water and milk.

For your viewing pleasure, the flat-screen television sets can be tuned to a range of channels including international and local news, sport and entertainment.

The combination of a lavish king bedroom with a fresh and funky dorm room – each with its own bathroom – could hit the “suite spot” if you’re traveling with toddlers, teenagers or even another couple, or just wish to have the extra space in which to relax.
